The Virginia Tech IT Security Office provides training throughout the campus. Training topics cover subjects from cyber security awareness issues to the latest techniques being used to compromise IT systems. Awareness training provides one of the best lines of defense to protect IT systems.

SANS - Computer Security Training

Virginia Tech has successfully hosted several SANS training courses. SANS training provides an opportunity for IT professional to obtain the knowledge and skills needed to help protect IT systems. The courses are taught by real world experts in the subject matter and can lead to industry-recognized certification.

SANS - Securing the Human Training
